This Weeks Photo Trip

Hello again everyone and welcome to another blog additionSmile  This past Monday Rob and I taught another Nikon DSLR workshop and then on Saturday we headed out to the Fieldstone Inn to take some photos and do some light painting.

While out at the Inn trekking around something absolutely terrifying happened to me... I saw a wood tick on my pant-leg!!! This is the second time in my life that I have seen a wood tick crawling on me and this time was no less horrifying than the first.  To my credit though I didn't even scream or anything but I now have a new found understanding for the way that Rob stops every ten feet to check that there are none crawling on him as well as how he always feels "phantom" ticks...yuck!

Before I post any photos I will leave you with a few "before you leave" tips:

1)  Before you leave the city make sure that you have a map to your destination so then you can make it there in good time to prevent getting lost en-route and then only having a window of about half an hour to take photos while there is still light. (I take full responsibility for this one).

2)  If you do plan on shooting photos at night it requires a lot of battery power.  Please ensure that you charge your camera batteries and take along some extras so that right when everything starts to come together you don't run out of power. (This is all Rob).

A shot that I took of a trailer along the way.
I have a thing for piers as I find it almost impossible to walk by one without photographing it... must be due to the fact that I grew up at a lake :)
Rob waiting for the deer...
Still waiting ... and might I add not looking very impressed.  Not sure if it's due to the lack of deer or the fact that he's getting his photo taken while his socks are fashionably pulled over his jeans... maybe a combination of both.  Or he has a sore neck which as you can all remember from the last blog also puts him in a terrific mood Yell

A bit of light painting... I thought that this was an outhouse but apparently it's a fish cleaning shack.
Last shot of the night that I took as Rob's batteries dies shortly after this.
Well... that it's for this week.  I am headed to California on Tuesday for 2 weeks of vacation...yipeee!!!  I am going to try to post at least one blog while I am away.
Have a great couple of weeks everyone!
I think that my mind must already be on vacation as Rob had sent me these two photos earlier in the week that he had taken to post on the blog and I had completely forgotten about them.  My apologies... I guess better late than never :)

enjoy your vacation, hope you can update your blog while you're gone.

Did you ever notice that BOTH times you'd seen a wood tick crawling up your pants, you were with Rob? Coincidence? I think not.... ;->

fat loss 4 idiots

When I originally commented I clicked the "Notify me when new comments are added" checkbox and now each time a comment is added I get four emails with the same comment.
Is there any way you can remove me from that service?

landlord credit check

You may have not intended to do so, but I think you have managed to express the state of mind that a lot of people are in. The sense of wanting to help, but not knowing how or where, is something a lot of us are going through.
